In my opinion, this IS chinkuchi and also what is called "kime" in the Japanese systems. Practitioners of various styles like to imagine that they have some secret method or technique unique to their style. However, the human body is the same everywhere, so proper power generation will be consistent across styles. Here is the caveat: when punching the air, there are methods which feel powerful, create a whipping, satisfying snap of the uniform, but actually produce nothing more than a stinging impact on a body. For example, I know a method of throwing a punch which can extinguish a candle from several inches away. Very impressive, except that it is worthless as a technique. Real fajing/chinkuchi/kime is for penetrating a body.
Is this similar to chinkuchi? I was told it's like the energy from a sneeze, that comes from within, utilizing breathe control.
